Milestones-China Commercial Law Firm

1993

China Commercial was established in 1993
and it was one of the first partnership law firms in China.

1994

With the approval of the China Securities Regulatory Commission and the Ministry of Justice, China Commercial Law Firm obtained the qualification to engage in securities law and became one of the first law firms to engage in securities law business.

1997

In 1997, China Commercial Law Firm moved to the 7th floor of the Choi Wai Wu Development Building, Baoan South Road, Luohu District. We have 12 partners and 45 practicing lawyers, and established the reform and strategic development goals of China Commercial in that year.

2003

China Commercial Law Firm moved to the 14th floor of Times Financial Center Building, and had 15 partners, with a total number of nearly 100 people.

2008

China Commercial Law Firm was awarded "2005-2007 National Excellent Law Firm" by the China Lawyers Association.

2011

The first international branch was established in Sydney, Australia.

2012

The first domestic branch was born in Changsha, Hunan Province.

2014

In 2014, China Commercial Law Firm began to expand globally, and established the first Hong Kong-Mainland joint venture law firm in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Qianhai Cooperation Zone, namely China Commercial LAM LEE LAI Law Firm, and the license is National 0001.

2015

China Commercial Law Firm moved to the 22nd-23rd floors of China Travel Services Building, and the number of staff increased to more than 200.

2019

The headquartered number of China Commercial exceeded 800, and the core values of "Political Awareness, Professionalism, and Dedication" were established. We began to implement a nationwide large-scale expansion strategy, setting up branches in Hong Kong, Sanya, Zhuhai, Huangshan, Huizhou and Guangming, and the joint venture law firm of China Commercial Anthony Siu Associated Law Firm.

2020

China Commercial Law Firm promoted the pilot reform of professional construction and explored the operation mode of team corporatization under the system of partnership law firms. In the same year, the Non-performing Assets Disposal Center was established, and branches in Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Nanchang, Longhua, Dongguan, Yantian and Foshan were established.

2021

China Commercial Law Firm set up offices in Toronto, Vancouver and Seattle, and set up branches in Wuhan, Jieyang, Tianjin, Nanjing, Xi'an, Zhengzhou and Qinhuangdao.

2023

In 2023, the office area of China Commercial Law Firm has reached 10,000 square meters, becoming the first law firm in Shenzhen with more than 1,000 practicing lawyers. We have officially established 47 offices, 6 foreign treaty firms, and ranked 13th in ALB's "Top 30 Law Firms in China" list.
