Social Responsibility

Huashang has become an important force in promoting social welfare
and has very distinctive performance in pro bono legal services.
Huashang has also been selected as the assistance unit of Shenzhen Public Security Legal Aid Center for Rights Protection, and as the general pro bono legal service organization of Shenzhen Legal Aid Center, Shenzhen Bureau of Industry and Information Technology and so on. Huashang also initiated the establishment of the "Sina Yangfan Public Welfare Fund-Huashang Lawyers' Special Public Welfare Program" to serve the public welfare with law.

In 2019, Huashang was awarded the title of "Yudian Award for the Top 10 Law Firms in Youth Legal Education - Session Four", which was the third consecutive time that Huashang had won this award. Huashang also won the "Bronze Award of Great Love Charitable Enterprise in Futian District".

Huashang lawyers have participated in the discussion and revision of a large number of Laws and regulations, such as the Regulations on Religious Affairs in the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, the Regulations on Joint Stock Cooperative Companies in the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, the Regulations on Property Management in the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, the Regulations on the Administration of the Real Estate Industry in the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, the Regulations on the Administration of Radio in the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, and the Regulations on the Promotion of Harmonious Labor Relations in the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone.

In 2004, Huashang lawyers were entrusted by the Department of Justice of Guangdong Province and the Guangdong Lawyers Association to revise and redraft Chapter IV "Rights and Obligations of Lawyers" of the Lawyers Law of the People's Republic of China. Huashang Lawyers completed the revised text of about 200,000 characters, part of which was adopted by the National People's Congress in legislation. Consequently, Huashang received a special commendation from the relevant authorities for this work.

Huashang has actively practiced social responsibility and ranked among the forefront of Shenzhen law firms in earthquake rescue and poverty alleviation activities.
