Blockchain Law Research Center
After the 18th collective study session of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee on October 24, 2019, the China Commercial Law Firm launched the "Blockchain Legal Research Institute" on December 11, 2019 in cooperation with multiple law firms and professional institutions in and outside china, which is the first in the lawyer industry in China. On July 24, 2020, on the basis of the "Blockchain Legal Research Institute", China Commercial Law Firm also established China's first digital economy legal research institute in lawyer industry. On November 11, 2021, in consideration of the application and development trend of the blockchain industry, China Commercial Law Firm established China's first metaverse service center (virtual world) dominated by law firms.
After establishment, the Blockchain Legal Research Institute of China Commercial Law Firm made remarkable achievements in professional research and legal service. It was awarded the "Annual Excellent Professional Committee 2020" of China Commercial Law Firm. The "Project to Establish Private Advisory Board and Expert & Scholar System for the Blockchain Legal Research Institute of China Commercial Law Firm" was awarded the Firm's top 10 typical non-litigation cases in 2020. On April 8, 2020, China Commercial Law Firm won the "China Business Law Awards 2020" in the "Fintech and Blockchain" industrial field. The establishment and legal services of the Blockchain Legal Research Institute were recognized by internationally renowned journals. In 2021, the blockchain business of China Commercial Law Firm won the SGLA biennial award 2021 (TMT Legal Service Award).
