On July 24, 2020, China Commercial Law Firm established the first Digital Economy Law Institute in the domestic legal industry. The Digital Economy Law Institute is comprised of a team of senior lawyers with profound expertise in the data field, European Union Data Protection Officers (DPOs), data transaction compliance experts, accountants, as well as foreign lawyers and legal advisors and expert advisors in the field of artificial intelligence. This is a professional legal service team proficient in data management, compliance operations, technology application, resource integration, and value creation.

Meanwhile, the China Commercial Digital Economy Law Institute is also responsible for related work concerning blockchain laws and metaverse services. The China Commercial Blockchain Law Institute, established on December 11, 2019, as the first of its kind in the national legal industry, received recognition from internationally renowned magazines and won the 2021 Sino-Global Law Alliance (SGLA) Biennial Award (TMT Legal Service Award). The China Commercial Metaverse Service Center (virtual world), established on November 11, 2021, as the first in the national legal profession, has garnered praise from clients.

The Institute consistently closely tracks the development trends of the digital economy and focuses on professional development.
